What to Expect in 2020?
Responsible Energy Future
LPG is a fossil-based fuel but when it is used as a fuel and burnt in the industrial, commercial, agricultural and transport sectors, it produces very low emissions compared to traditional fossil fuels such as diesel, gasoline and fuel oil. How can LPG play a role in a responsible energy future when it carries the fossil tag? What can be done to convince policy makers that using LPG instead of dirty, higher carbon, fuels is actually a major step towards a zero carbon world?
We want to hear your ideas that presents LPG as a solution, rather than a problem, towards a responsible energy future. Ideas that supports the notion that LPG is a valuable energy that contributes towards a zero-carbon world. They might include:
- Arguments for presenting the case for LPG (e.g. an App that provides for carbon tracking and modelling);
- Exciting ideas to link LPG to renewable energy futures (e.g. linking solar powered electricity to produce bio-LPG); Innovative solutions that utilise the digital world to demonstrate the benefits of using LPG (e.g. a website to provide an assessment of what it means in emissions to make a life choice.
There will be many other ideas. We’d like to hear from you.
